Sonatinas Up Through 5th Grade
Sonatinas 6th-8th Grade
Sonatas Up through 8th Grade
Sonatas 9th-10th Grade
Sonatas 11th-12th Grade
**Students participating in the Sonatina Division up through 5th Grade may play one memorized piece or single movement from the Classical period, such as German Dances, Minuets and Sonatinas. Students in all other divisions will perform one memorized movement of a Sonatina or Sonata from the Classical Period.
New Guidelines as of 2018:
1. Open to CAMTA teachers and students who live in the Greater Lansing Area.
2. Entered students must study with their current CAMTA teacher for at least 6 months.
3. Photocopies will not be allowed unless the music is out of print (written verification
from the publisher is required). Copies that are digital downloads with a purchase
receipt and copies with the CD Sheet Music logo are also acceptable.
4. The Winners Concert will be combined with the SAT Honors Concert in March.
5. No requests for performance times will be honored. No refunds will be given.
6. Each teacher will submit one check (made to CAMTA) for all of their entered students. $25 per student.
